Alexandra Mackenzie

Alexandra has 10 years’ experience in start-ups and scale-ups across the UK, Benelux, and Africa. She has headed up European operations in financial services, led commercial teams in France, and launched NGO GiveDirectly’s country operations in DR Congo from scratch. At GiveDirectly she fundraised significant capital from the government in a partnership tackling COVID-19, insecurity, corruption, and Ebola. Alexandra is fluent in French and currently lives in Lisbon, Portugal.
